The story of Hercules is classic, in every sense of the word. Unfortunately, the movie is not. This has got to be the worst movie I've seen in the last 20 years and the worst I've ever seen at a theater. The story is masticated well beyond historical liberties. The acting is almost universally bad. The special effects are inane. Much of the dialogue is derivative ("It is your destiny."). I'm having trouble writing this without spitting invective, so I'll just stop. If you're in your early teens or younger, you might actually enjoy it. Otherwise, don't waste your money.

spoiler alert, this movie will make you pissed off at the end, because you realized you spent at least 12 dollars on a poorly shot camera phone movie of Lutz walking are shirtless saying to an army, it"s okay if you die, i'll get the woman in the end and life will be peachy, while you're dead.

A waste of a good storyline. Poor acting, less than average visual effects, dark, predictable. In the words of the immortal Jed Clampett..... Pitiful.

I'm sorry but although the slow motion action scenes were kinda cool, I actually fell asleep through most of it, but my husband, who picked the movie enjoyed it!,

The acting was good, The Movie Plot was good. What made the Movie great was a lot of Action in this Movie. The Movie keeps you on the edge of your seat as you see Hercules go from prince to prisoner to slave to arena fighter . The last battle scene in which Hercules battles his father for the Death of his mother was a good touch at the end.
